Marching band updates

Good afternoon band family!

It's been a strong band camp so far, and, it’s hard to believe, we are actually quite close to the end. A few updates for you.

Tomorrow’s rehearsal

• Winds and battery will be at the stadium

• Front Ensemble will be in the small gym. 

• We shouldn’t need any help getting everything to the stadium. Please keep in mind that the parking lot and traffic circle will be crazy packed with all of the teachers from around the district here tomorrow. 

Rain in the forecast

• The pool party has been moved to Tuesday, August 13th from 6pm-8pm. Can’t keep you out too late, it's a school night.  

• The parent show on Friday will now be inside in the PAC at 6:30pm

• The rain should subside by Saturday, but the bleachers will probably be soaked. We will have an install on Sunday. Shifts are from noon-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm.

  • Sign-up here. You will be placed into teams once you arrive. I would like to finish the bottom and start on the top if possible. 

First Home football game

• I was unaware that our first home football game was moved back in June after we posted the schedule. As such our first home football game is August 30th, which is Labor Day weekend, the weekend I encouraged you all to take off (didn’t schedule a saturday rehearsal) as a last hurrah prior to getting into marching season.
