Do you love music? Then you don't want to miss Cavalcade, the annual high school marching band competition at Charlottesville High School, our biggest event of the year! This 35th Cavalcade possesses a rich tradition of superior musical performances and is one of the premier marching band competitions in central Virginia.

Come show your hometown spirit and cheer on the CHS Marching Black Knights as we host dozens of area bands in a showcase like no other! Enjoy concessions, raffles, and hours of musical performances. It's fun and excitement for the whole family.​​
