About the CHS Band Program

 

The band program at Charlottesville High School provides a comprehensive musical experience for its students, with an performance emphasis on:

• Concert

• Solo 

• Chamber Ensemble

 

Ensembles include:

• Wind Ensemble

• Symphonic Band

• Jazz Band

• Marching Band 

 

Our Goal

All of these perform throughout the year at various school, local, and state events. With support from our parents, community, and administration, the Charlottesville High School band program aims to focus on quality music making while instilling a life-long appreciation for music and the arts.
