Help the CHS Marching Knights Get to London!
Once in a Lifetime. A Global Stage.
Every year on January 1st, London becomes a massive, vibrant stage. More than 8,000 global performers fill the streets with music, marching from Piccadilly to Parliament Square before a live crowd and millions of worldwide viewers.
The Charlottesville High School Band has been officially invited to march in the London New Year’s Day Parade 2028!
This humbling honor is a dream come true for our hardworking teenagers. For many of our students, this trip will mark their very first time securing a passport or traveling outside of Virginia. This cultural exchange will expand their world through international arts, music, and community.
The Financial Challenge
The total cost to send a single student on this educational and performance journey is estimated to be $4,500. We are fully committed to ensuring that financial hardship does not keep a single talented musician at home.
Your tax-deductible donation directly lowers the financial burden for our families and funds scholarships for students in need.
