CHS Weekly band update 9/8/24

Good Evening Band Family!

I hope that all is well. We have a few things going on this week and I wanted to touch base. 

Band Booster Meeting

• Our next Band Booster meeting is 7pm in the Band room on 9/12.

• Come find out what's going on and how you can help

After school rehearsal Friday 

• 4-6:30pm on Friday this week. No Saturday rehearsal

UVA Seat Sales

• It is a late game this week so we will sell through the 1st quarter then call it a night.

• If you wish to stay for the entire game you will need to have a signed letter from a parent or have your parent volunteer with you. I will have the parent letter put together later on this week.

• Seat Sale instructions

• Seat Sale sign-ups

• We will have a group stop by on Wednesday to clean up again from 4:30-6:30pm

• Clean-up crew sign-up

Community Partnerships

• I would like to challenge you to pick one business and offer them a partnership with the band program this week. Make sure to check out the sheet and fill out the form before you offer them. 

• If you own a business, know a local business owner, or work for a local business we ask that you reach out to them and ask if they would consider supporting the Charlottesville High School Band.
